Bio-Cremation
Bio-cremation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis or aquamation, uses a combination of gentle water flow, heat, and alkalinity to accelerate the organic break down process. Because there is no burning, bio-cremation has several advantages over conventional incineration-based cremation:
- Emits 90% less greenhouse gases
- No ashes are destroyed
- There is no commingling of ashes from other pets (when individual bio-cremation is chosen)
